There was a giant gapeing hole in spawn, It seems to be an entire chunk lost it's stone. There were other ores clearly visable there, and all items were suspended (torches from the rail, unfallen gravel, unflowing lava. Seems to be a glitch.

I fixed it best I could (Read, filled in the air with stone and/or lost blocks) but someone should review the spawn area. the area was from the start of the railway tunnel to the first shop stalls. one chunk area. Keep a look out for missing chunks.

I had a look, it seems like all smooth stone is missing from the reported chunks.
Gaz have you been map editing this by any chance?
Else i will fix this, i'll copy paste it from a backup.

I reverted the map to the state it was in at Jan 21 2012 @ 00:00
Rollback didnt work on it

I suspect the 1.1 of this corruptness.
