ALSO: I've been talking about this for a bit, how only 3 strongholds generate per world, but I just saw this: "As of 1.0 Strongholds have an unlimited amount spawn in a single world. (Changed from just three) "
Anyway, 1.8 terrain to 1.0 terrain has weird chunk borders. Told you that opal needed to wait
Though you could probably still regenerate some chunks, at the cost of there being a lot of ugly chunk borders.

The plan was to wait till minecon but people got too eager (so did we) so stop mentioning that. We've been cleaning chunks for the past year with nobody noticing lol

There is no build for minecraft 1.0 yet.
And i don't want to run dev builds.

Seems like they did upload 1.0.0 bukkit, but I think it's a dev build :/.
Well, I'm in no real hurry, anyway. I guess it's like this because they didn't have as much time, updating it live.
