Color Grading Texture Pack

Post by wlollpop » June 12th, 2011, 12:59 am

Hello! I made a "texture pack" that isn't really a texture pack but rather a modification to the original textures. I also made all the cacti happy. First picture is a comparison to demonstrate the changes I have made:

EDIT: this is the new version. No happy cacti, and stone is "more stoney." Also I changed it to color grading because it is the correct term.
With color grading:

Cool stuff wloll, though if you're up for a few crits I'd say the most alarming thing is how stone and gravel have become so brown that it could be difficult to differentiate from dirt at a distance. I like what you're doing, but remember... contrast keeps people from getting confused!

Thanks for the help! luckily I accidentally deleted everything I have ever associated with minecraft for the 5th time this week, so I can try again with more contrast! :D

I really like it however same thing Geedave already said. Just need to be able to tell the difference from stone to dirt.

Tell me how it goes I will use it if the cacti look normal and the stone is more stoney.
