DOGS!

Post by Sooneey » April 16th, 2011, 3:01 am

Since dogs have come in the new update everyone wants to get their hand on their trusty friend.

However since this is still beta game I would like to give everyone a heads up on what bugs I've come across so far and what not to do.

1. Making your dog sit and then warp makes your dog stay in that location till you right click it again to make it stand, if you warp back and it is not there try relogging and it should appear.

2. If you are lucky enough to come across a large group of dogs and have the bones to tame them all (10+ dogs) watch out for warping. For some reason some will vanish but may or may not stay where you last warp. This is a bug and I would recommend keeping a very small team of pets.

3. When warping around for any reason make sure its an open area in size. About 4x4 is the smallest warp area you should do, the dog may warp in a wall for lag reason and die quite quickly.

4. Dogs will fall of cliffs easily so do not go trekking across the hilly lands without meat to feed it, not a bug but a tip.

5. If a dog dies from a natural death admins can not spawn you a new one, if it bug related and an admin is online I am sure we can help you however abusing this for any reason will come up as a cause of concern and all admins and moderators will be notified.

If I come across any new bugs I will place them here, if you found one I haven't please post it here in as much detail as possible and I'll update it asap.

Thanks, Sooneey.

Ruby was sitting down quietly, and then a skeleton no-scoped her! D: lesson learned: Keep dogs away from mob killing machines.
You just lost the game.
