So, i was on google maps and i noticed they have an "Area 51".
Lets look at some of these genius people's theories and thoughts...

heh... Area 51 IS a real place. It is a formerly secret military base that is now famous. Keeping the locations of some military bases is a good policy as it keeps the Japs from bombing them. Being secret does not mean it contains beings and vehicles from another world. The closest thing Area 51 does involveing space may be spy satilites or extreme height aircraft that may break Earth's atmosphere.

That "thing" they brought back is not a secret anymore. It was a device used durring WWII designed to intercept and detect Japanese "Dirty bombs". The Japs did not have the tecnology of Atomic Weaponry at the time, but they DID have plots to drop radioactive materials on the USA. They also did not have ICBMs or other advanced delivery systems like the V2 rockets, so the idea was to float the radioacive substances over on balloons. These "dirty bombs" were a serious consern as Japan became more desperate in their tactics. The device recovered was somewhat similur to a weather balloon, with devices designed to detect radioacive substances. We don't like showing our secret military defence devices to any potential enemies, so it was a top secret recovery mission. To my knowlidge, the Japs never attempted to deploy any dirty bombs as the plan was unreliable and generaly crappy in all respects. They DID get some help from Ze Germans with military technology, but obviously we surpassed them in that area of technology.
