How to install texture packs on a mac

First off, this post will tell you how to both install a normal pack, and a hd pack.

HD PACK INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS; ( NOTE: YOU WILL NEED A CLEAN MINECRAFT.JAR )
1. Download mcpatcher from http://www.minecraftdl.com/mcpatcher-hd-fix/ (scroll down till you see the download)
2. Open mcpatcher and make sure 'HD texture packs' is ticked, then press patch.
3. After you have done this, Go to 'Library>Application Support>Minecraft>texturepacks' and drag the chosen texture pack into the folder. ( NOTE: the texture pack MUST be a .jar or it will not work, so dont decompress it )
4. Load up minecraft, click on texture packs and choose it!
5. Have fun!
