Hey, i was just wondering, on the server, can you actually detect people with hacked clients? I wasnt thinking of doing it obviously (i dont even know how to hack smp), i was just thinking about it and thought i'd ask. Thanks

It depends on what is intended by hacking. Hacking through resource mining is easily monitored by admins watching players' mining patterns, and i think there is a mod that tracks how many ore blocks are broken by a specific player. There's also many anti-fly mods too, although seeing a guy fly is clear evidence he's either hacking or creative anyway.

Yeah, the reason I asked was because I saw how easy it was to get hacked clients. You just download something then put in minecraft files someplace. I just thought about that and started thinking,"What if someone has got one on maxloader.nl?!" lol
