HELP!!!!

So I recently tried connecting to the server in minecraft 1.8, and it said "cannot reach server" so I downgraded to 1.7 and it just said "connecting to the server" for ages but never did. Does this mean I can't play on the server anymore? :(

it was probably just a minor glitch, or the server froze or something.

It was'nt a glitch because it happened a few days ago as well. and no, i just tried maxloader.nl
donwhittam left the game.

The server is operateing on the current 1.8 version (update to current official version).
The new address is mc.maxloader.com
you MUST alter the connection address to successfully connect to the server. Appart from any clientside errors (like the one I'm currently haveing) the server is functional.

i tried mc.maxloader.nl and it said that the host name didn't exist.
donwhittam left the game.
