Heavy Fire Griefing

Great! Forums work again!
So here the whole story from my perspective, i will put this right away, so noone askes Questions later:

I logged in at around 6:20 PM CET. /Playerlist told online where : JCdobber, Skovgaard, Koesalade.
Jc immidiatly told me there was a griefer here, and after a second of beeing stubbon i noticed everything burned. JC also told me that it was Koesalade and i should bann him.
So mods are not able to /tp, so i had no proof in anyway, and i told JC i got not just bann someone because someone else called him a griefer. Koesalade acted kind of innocent. After Jc writing "He is burning the Boat right now" i warped to CC, and ran over to the boat, saw JCDobber and Koesalade standing there. I Kicked Koesalade and asked JC if he had screenshots which proof Koesalade was guilty. He answered yes. I took the risk and Instabanned Koesalade.

So i hope noone will ask for details later, i think i gave you everything i got now.

The damage done is Huge. Really Huge. The Server was lagging very Hard, and it took me about half an hour to put only about 1/10 of the flames out. Really everything that was made out of wood burns. I think this also caused the forums to shut down for some time, since they are running on the same server (?)

I'll upload some screens of the damage in a second.
The Backup of 5:30 PM should still be good, if i got everything right.

And yes I think mods should be able to TP, it makes it alot easier to get to the
case quickly.

After a few days not really taking a look at the server, because of reallife, I finally logged in. And now Treetown is burning! Can we get a rollback?

We need more security. And we have to ban JC.

Anyway, I don't think Keoselade did it. He was just blamed on by JC.

I banned you because you tought it would be fun to burn down some more, to make things even worse.
The picture that Dweazel provided is, I think, enough evidence that you have. If it was an unfair ban
then I apologise and take the punishment

How about we wait untill max comes back from whereever he is, wait for him to do the rollback, and than go on discussing?

So OK. I will try to sum up some hard facts here, before Emotions cook up to high:

I request that Koesalade will not be unbanned yet, because i am pretty sure he is responsible for what happened yesterday. I saw him jumping around the boat, shortly after it started to burn. If , however i was wrong and Koesalade was really innocent in all cases, i Apologize.

And now Treetown is burning! Can we get a rollback?

So i haven't been online for 24 Hours now, but i guess the Status qou is about the same as it was when we decided to take a new map and start from the scratch.
That means everybody is like "aah f*ck off, there'll be a huge Rollback soon! Let's just grief anything we have standing around right now!"
I do not have to tell you that this is totally stupid behaviour.

Anyway, I don't think Keoselade did it. He was just blamed on by JC.

Ok i see we got a little Confusion here:
When i opened this thread Castlecity, Beachville, and the big Boat was burning.
--> i am pretty sure Koesalade is to blame for this one, altough he acts innocent.
So now in this constant Chaos, it could be that JC lost his nerves and started griefing down treecity, and other things.
---> But this was 24 Hours after the original Reason for this Thread



I admit, this whole situation is getting a bit confusing :S

From my understanding and what I've seen/heard, Dreadseye's summary seems pretty accurate. There are places that were set on fire almost a day after the banning of Koesalade, including the trade district of Castle City and (I think) Tree town.

Oh, and this is EXACTLY why I asked Max to disable flint (except for moderators)...

I'll rollback the server as soon as possible.
As for disabling flint, it can and will be hacked like TNT so i'm not sure if it will help.

Koesalade keeps his ban, according to that screenshot he has been busy doing bad things.
I have been busy with that wedding and stuff, so thats why i was not online much.
Mostly on weekends i am not much online.
