Worms Armageddon
Worms Armageddon
Anyone still play this game? It's pretty awesome and I'm considering buying it, would be fun to play online with people I actually know (kinda)!
(If you're wondering I had the game at some point but I don't know where it went xD)

Re: Worms Armageddon
I had this game too, but one day it exploded in my 52x cd-rom drive (mythbusters busted this, but its possible)
The thing is, the jewel case it was in held the cd very tight and you pretty much had to force it out causing hairline fractures from the center outwards.
And worms armageddon streams its game audio from the cd so it continuesly spins, until it got warmer and warmer and expanded BLAM.
This happened to me twice (also with a burned cd so that was no biggy)

Re: Worms Armageddon
does that ruin the cd-rom drive? seems like it'd be a pain to get all the pieces out. Also Mythbusters isn't exactly scientific. it's entertaining to watch, but I don't take everything they show to be fact.Maxloader wrote:I had this game too, but one day it exploded in my 52x cd-rom drive (mythbusters busted this, but its possible)

Re: Worms Armageddon
Hell yes it fuckes up your drive!
It wouldnt open anymore, even now with a screwdriver!
We still had warranty on the computer at that time so a mr fixit came along each time to replace it for free. (i had 0% pc experience back then)

Re: Worms Armageddon
Damn, I thought the screwdriver would've worked for sure. good thing you got it replaced for free. that'd suck to have to buy a new drive cause a cd randomly exploded in your drive. How long ago was this?Maxloader wrote:Hell yes it fuckes up your drive!

Re: Worms Armageddon
ok cool. yeah my older brother had the game and he'd play it all the time with his friends. but I was just a little kid so he'd hide it from me and I never found it. same thing with GTA2

Re: Worms Armageddon
@jakal did you look next to the porn? @lumpy i just torrented it if you want to play ;D
Re: Worms Armageddon
@Mid he hid the porn too, also way to admit to the entire internet that you just illegally downloaded a game. Torrenting games off the internet is like going into a room full of rapists and saying "oops! the back of my pants fell off, let me bend over and pick it up." The hackers will be all over you and you'll end up with all kinds of viruses.

Re: Worms Armageddon
lol it's ok, mid isn't very intelligent but somehow he's alive
I don't have WA anymore.
(also you can't play if you torrent it since there's a crapton of patches and you can only play online if you play the most recently patched version.)
