Tree glitch?

ok all of my wooden platforms were removed from my town randomly... i just made a tree farm below them but i dont understand how that would make all of the platforms disapear. i have another tree farm with a glass roof and it has never done it to that. Can i get a rollback on the area?

Incase anyone reads this, it was because there was lava about 2 blocks next to wood and everything flammable went up in smoke. Not a bug and was fixed.

from how far away can lava burn things?

Research would suggest that lava can set things on fire up to 4 blocks away.

well, its not how FAR lava is, its the small circles popping out the lava.
