Problems signing in

Whenever I try to sign in I get one of four or five different error messages a few of which I've seen on the forums already. One I haven't seen on here though is this one "Exception: Server Returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL:" and then it gives a really long minecraft.net URL. is this something I can fix on my end?

I have it too, it is minecraft.net not telling the sever who we are.

Try restarting your minecraft client and/or wait 5 minutes and try again.

I've been waiting retrying occasionally for a few hours now. is anyone else having problems with it today?
