Hello!

I could finally play on the server! Made me bring up a tear...
Anyways, my first major objective was to build a good spawn. Like the one we had on the previous map!
One teensy little problem. It's spawn protected.
The thing is that only Admins can place/destroy blocks there, is there anyway you could maybe let others do that as well?

Does that mean we shouldn't do anything about them?
I assume those craters were originated from creepers. If we build a proper spawn, the craters will disappear and people won't be blowing up things again. Newcomers will also think this server it totally BS, because it's seriously griefed (at spawn).

Craters don't fix themselves.

first of all, i don't always type in perfect grammar, this includes not capitalizing when i feel lazy and not putting in punctuation.

Second of all, that sentence made no sense at all. Let's take a closer look:

Forget your period was today?

First, you included the word "was," but there was no "where" or such that would indicate ____ it was.

Then, you have conflicting tenses in this sentence. "Forget" with an "e" implies that you are speaking (or in this case, typing) in the present tense. However, the word "was" indicates that you were typing in the past tense, since "was" is one of the past tense forms of "is." In the context of the sentence, you probably wanted it to be in past tense, not present tense. Therefore, the sentence should read:

Forgot where your period was today?

Of course, you could write it in other ways as well.


Another thing is the way you formatted it doesn't work, since you had it as a quote, but didn't put it in quotation marks or use the handy quote function in this message board.

There are further improvements you could make with this sentence, of course, but I do not feel like further wasting my time on the likes of you.

Grammar nazi-ing doesn't work as well when you fail at grammar, just saying

Yeah, you just made a worse fail. It is technically correct. By period I was not only making a pun, but i was referring to your time of month, which is why that is correct. If your going to insult one's grammar, make sure your are doing so correctly.

There are so many things wrong with this sentence I don't even want to fix it. Alas, you won't believe me if I don't.


You have inconsistencies with your capitalization. If you capitalize one "I," I will expect you to capitalize all of them. However, you didn't:

Second of all, you used the wrong "you're." Your is possessive; it implies you are talking about something that belongs to said person. In this case, you were aiming for the contraction "you're," which obviously means "you are." After that, you wrote "your are," which makes no sense; it would have been better to simply write "you are."

If your going to insult one's grammar, make sure your are doing so correctly.

You also have inconsistencies regarding tense. In the second tense, you claim you "were" making a pun, but then switched to the present form "is."

The second sentence also has some logical issues; you said you were not only making a pun, but you were also making a pun. This could have been worded much better, since the beginning states that you made a pun, and the second half after your conjunction explained the pun using the wrong conjunction. (For example, "and" could have worked much better in that situation, and the "was not only" should have been left out.)
