wlollpop and i have just started a new town for villagers 3000 or so blocks from spawn. we really need to make a rail out to the village but when you add the distance togethor plus any uphills or things we have to avoid it means we need about 4300 rails. thats much rail. we need some help from an admin prefferablly not sooney he dun mussed it up last time. if an admin could respond soon that would be cool.

what you need is an IRON FARM. I've been researching it and I THINK I have it figured out. Requires some sifting through as many vids are from snapshots and things have apparently changed. Anyone with a village near their town/home should set that up. apparently they can be quite efficient when done properly and iron will not be an issue.

Gold is still a pain in the ass, and if Jeb fixes iron farms (he fixes the dumbest things sometimes) then you will have spent a lot of time and effort on something that is essentially useless.

me thinks me is in need of an admin or a maxexploder

gold isnt THAT bad. well...it IS the worst to farm, but you dont really need that much of it. just need a mob shaker farm in the nether.
