You can build and destroy things in here, it just really extends on the combat aspect (moddable weapons, skills gained by leveling up, etc.)
Also it uses a voxel engine and is written in C++ so it may run better.

Eh, looks cool, but I don't really like the way the mobs look lol. (this includes the player)

The guy making this was offered a job by Mojang. he chose to turn it down and continue on his own. Respect.

One of the things I like about this is that it looks like most CGI renders of minecraft terrain, with the nice lighting (and it seems to be a bit more dynamic than minecraft's), and smooth textures.

Not even sure if the game uses that many textures anyway, since each voxel seems to be an individual pixel for something. Even the health meter for enemies is made of voxels o.o

Sorry Max maybe I wrote that badly. He had started Cubeworld a while ago, and Majang wanted to hire him, notch tweeted he wanted to plug his brain into a keyboard, and sell what ever came out (lol errrr).

He was going to join, but instead decided to decline and said he would rather spend his time working on Cubeworld. To which Notch said he did the same thing with Minecraft when he started out (someone wanted to hire him, he refused, then started Mojang).

This looks pretty awesome. Thanks for alerting me to it's existence. I will most definitely get this.
