Hey, I know ace is good with macs so here goes lol. I tried to install the permissionsEX plugin to my server, and i colour coded the ranks and set what each rank could do. But when I joined the server again after rebooting it to get the mod to work, everyone on my server was default rank. But then, the /setrank command wouldn't work, as if i didn't even have the mod installed. help? by the way, if it helps, I'm on an iMac osx 10.7 lion. thanks -don

First off: wlollpop is the guy who uses macs, not me, but I don't think what you're doing matters with the operating system that much,

Also, I never used PermissionsEX, but I do use GroupManager, so if you want to use GroupManager, I could be more of a help with that.

Btw, the permissions plugin may/may not be broken if you're using an outdated version, so you may have to wait for it to update/switch to alternative.

Or in rare cases, you may simply be experiencing a GPU error which renders all of the text to be white instead of colored. In that case, download this client mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/981 ... -text-fix/

Its ok, I've installed permissionsEX. The next 5 people to join my server, i will make moderators.

just stating a few of my past things seeing as how i ran a server for some time, permissionsEX sucks, i usually use things like the essentials permissions thing, and even if its an out dated version it works, don't ask why but it always just worked.

I use permissionsEx (permission sex) for this server and it works just fine.

I find sex is usually better without permission.
