I have looked up about servers, and I saw that it was free for up to 8 people, and would cost money for more.
For now, I think this limitation wouldn't be much of a problem, since there rarely is over 8 people on the server at once.
Thoughts? I can host it if wanted.

ofc you can host, but dont consider buying it because the buy-version is for corporate users only and has 10k slots.

I think this is a cool idea! I like skype and all but vent is much easier because I tend to multi task on the computer!

EDIT: Teamspeak is free...

Teamspeak has worse voice quality though, so I'll stick with vent unless there's always over 8 people on.

Try connecting to ace.maxloader.nl through ventrilo, I may/may not be on because I might be getting a new laptop today, one that can handle games better...

I tried connecting and got no luck any ports?

Nope, I think you're at the right forum.

I literally just realized that Vent is free. That being said, I might use it since Skype lags like lolruses sometimes.

Max, so you can't host a server? I mean you don't need to but it doesn't seem to take up much CPU for me.
EDIT: Well actually that would mean that ping would be bad for new yorkers, but the difference doesn't really seem to be noticeable, except this time when I was on vent with litmeuplol, where it took like 6 seconds for him to receive the sound from me.

You CAN host a vent server ofc, but it wouldnt allow more than a few players at once.
