Small 2vs2 Tournament (Arena)

So my Trap arena (see the post in Projects) is "almost" finished, and i thought i would like to host a little

OPENING TOURNAMENT

As you know it is my style to just post something and then edit it to get finished during the next days, the same counts for this post.

1.) What do i have to do to participate at the tournament? What are the requirments?

- Have a Partner
This is a 2vs2 Tournament, I would like to get a total of 4 Teams so we get a semi final round, a final round, and a fight for the 3rd place.

- Have Skype/TS/Ventrillo Installed
This is not a requirement, but i STRONGLY recommend it. The traparena is based on Teamplay, and often on perfect timing between the players. Chat just doesn't work for this, so i guess it would be an advantage if you and your teammate speak the same language.

- Be able to arrange your fights
Since the activity times on the server are not constant at all, i would like you to arrange the fight with the opposng team yourself, so make some free time and be sure all 4 players are online then.

- Finally, post here or contact me Ingame

2.) How do i get to the Tournament? Where is it?

At my (nearly finished) Traparena i spent 2 months working on. /warp traparena.

3.) I don't know how to play this stuff! what are we supposed to do in this freakin complicated arena? I only remember that you were f*ckin annoying because you needed like a bazillion redstone!

Basically, I grant every team a test-play againt me alone, without my partner, so that everyone gets used to play in the arena, and knows what he's doing. Just tell me when you both are online, I will happily get defeated by you!


So how about prices? what do i get for my victory?

There will be prices, i just have to see how much i have left after i finished the arena. Also, the Prices will be perfectly splitable, so that each teammember gets the same stuff.

Of COURSE! it sounds way fun. plus with the amount of work that you put into it, it'd be a shame not to try it out.
