I would like to announce my vacation period here.
As the server pretty much runs its-self i expect little trouble, but anyway you know i'm on vacation.
I'm on vacation in the period from Sept 13 to Sept 27 (might not be online the days around those dates).

In case you are wondering: I am going to the Algarve on the south coast of Portugal.
Link to the resort i will be staying at: http://www.booking.com/hotel/pt/vitor-s ... lang=en-gb
I will stay for 15 days in a 2 room apartment.

So i would like to ask Gazoid to cover for me in this period, or if he can't it won't be disastrous because as i said, it runs its self.

That would be nice, but unless you want to foot the bill for 2 airline tickets across that little puddle that seems to be between USA and SPAIN... My petty paycheck won't cut it.

Pest is an american, be thankful he was at least close on the geography. Even I had to double check to make sure I wasn't about to sound stupid when saying he was close geographically.

Portugal is pritty much a hop, skip, and a jump from spain. And "Hunny, lets go to Spain" sounds far more pleasant (to Ignorant Americans at least) the "Let's got to Portugal". The subtle differance in wording means the differance between instantly wet panties or "Is that near Mexico or Spain" responces.

Portugal is a farely important location in diplomacy game battles (early england/france struggles, mid game france/italy battles) so it's hard to forget that one.

I bought that game, but my family complained about how complicated it was and refused to ever play it again

Diplomacy complicated!? Its one of the rare few games that is not influenced by luck. The PC version works quite well (if somewhat easy) but make sure it is the board game one and not some odd RTS game. I can never find enough players for a full game at a location w/o mail games.
