Hey everyone, I may be getting this mod a year late or something but since I found it and thought it is amazing I feel the need to share. At the moment this is only 64x64 pixels on the blocks instead of 16x16. Can get it up to 258x258 I believe!

I've used it in the past, but be careful if you're using a laptop, it can get much more resource intensive than you might be used to.

I don't think the Higher resolution fits with the blocks that is minecraft

Not at fan Gazoid? Don't you think it can open so many new possibilities. The amount of pixels means you can edit the texture pack to look like anything!

Anything that is boxy...

I prefer the 8bit look of minecraft, its a salute to older games, when things were simpler, and not about desaturated, over bloom'd brown rubbish that you see today on consoles.


There's something about getting so much out of so little, as an artist it really appeals to me.

I just like the normal 8 bit look cause it's Minecrafty. Some texture packs arent blocky enough for me.

not too shabby. I think they wussed out on some of the blocks, but many look quite well. Still waiting for enough 256x packs to piece together one that is actualy GOOD (they all wuss out on MANY blocks).

With 1.3, you wont need any install process like you did before, still need that mod loader to get any pack that is not 16x16 working though... Ask if anyone needs instructions

How do you make a texture pack? I kinda want to try my stab at one...

all the files are in there... just modify what you want changed.
