Guys, Beta 1.3 is out!
If you didnt start minecraft yet, be sure to first have the newest launcher!
Get the newest launcher here:
http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp
The server still runs 1.2 and will do so until enough mods are available for 1.3
This is good news, but also bad:
There are no mods yet for 1.3, this will come out in the next few days to a week i think.
So if the launcher asks you to update, choose NO.
If you updated anyway, here is a tutorial on how to perform a downgrade back to the old version:

I also had to wipe the big brother database, it got too big.

It didnt give me a chance. it updated automaticly. if you could inform me when sooneey gets that tutorial up, thad be great

i think mine updated automatticaly :,( i pressed connect and it said, "server outdated" how do i reset to 1.2?

its ok sooneey, i have the feeling it wont be long anymore....
ps: im fiddling around with a 1.3 test server on my other pc
