what do i do?

hey, its "donwhittam" from the server. I recently got a house in Dawnville, and i dug up a bit of my floor to replace it with logs, but under the floor, were 2 chests... I dont know who's they are. I was thinking they were maybe the previous guys chests. I'm not stealing, just wondering what to do with the stuff. They contained, 3stacks of glass, 64 coal, 36 iron, 25 wool etc. Please get back to me and tell me what to do with the things. Thanks - donwhittam

Let an admin see whos chest it is, they can view the changed made to chests.
If it is from before the installation of the big-brother mod (so if it contains no changed other than your own) you can have the chests and its contents!

lol i left a couple of signs in my house saying "get back to me if they are yours" and i got a message back saying "they were a friend of mines that got banned from the village." So im guessing ican keep it? lol

i dont know when the last guy lived in my house, but i know that they are his, and the chests are probably from a while ago. Thanks -donwhittam

Banned from the village = stuff belongs to him
Banned from the server = stuff belongs to you

there was no name of the person who left the sign's or the name of the previous guy. I think he was banned from the server but im not sure.

again, let an admin check who made changes to that chest and you will know the name.
