Thanks, pixie. :D

Did some more work today, but the going is slow. :P I decided to move one of the outer walls to make room for a building, and added some arches for the pathway to the entrance.

Heres a little progress from the castle, the first one burned down because i accidentally changed some blocks to lava and not the stone brick :D and of course i had some of the walls made of wool and roofs out of wood so you can all imagine how it looked like after that :DD

Thanks GeeDave! That made it all worth it. :D

Great work Pixie! I love seeing my work in real minecraft. :P
I would definetly want your help come Opal, for several reasons:

1: This started as a one man project, but as the scale grew, so did the need for manpower.

2: You've shown a lot of interest by repeatedly posting here.

3: You have a lot of cool ideas of how to decorate the castle. (vines, fountains, waterwalls, etc)

4: Your awesome. :P

As for the file, you'll need Google sketchup, just google it, and you should find it. Its completely free, unless you go for the professional version.

There are two ways I can get you the file, one being I simply mail you the file, its only about 2Mb.

I could also try the 3d model database fuction of sketchup. I can upload any work ive done to a server dedicated to sketchup models through sketchup, and you can download it directly inot your google sketchup. It's probably the fastest way to do it.

thanks for all the nice coments! im really honored to be invovled with this. :D

ah, sorry, forgot to tell you. I already uploaded it to the database, but I cant seem to be able to download it myself... Might be something wrong, but I can't understand what, my sketchup crashes everytime I try to import it myself. You can still try tho. Go to File -> 3D warehouse -> get model, and search for ravenhold. you should find it. download, and import directly to sketchup. Maybe it works for you :S

EDIT: It works, it just takes a long time to import. :) Might have something to do with the size.

Thats fine. :) We can treat my model as a first draft. Looking forward to starting the project. :D

by the way, If you use the tapemeasure tool, you can see how many blocks the different parts of the castle will use. Im using the metric system, and for simplicitys sake, 1meter equals 1 minecraft block.

I apologise. I havent been playing recently because a certain new game came out, namely Skyrim.

because I cant bring myself to stop playing the damn thing, and because theres so much to do in the game, it will take time before im back in minecraft, so the ravenhold project is on hold from my side. If Pixie want to keep building it while i'm gone, thats fine :P Cya all! I'm going back to Tamriel. notch

Perhapse you already beat RAGE, but there is also saints row: the 3rd, and the never ending Battlefield 3.

I'll get back to you with more as the endless supply of games the demand your time stream in.

This is looking like the BIGGEST BUILD IN MAXLOADER HISTORY so far. Are you planning on making this a town or at least public? I think that would be cool.

I'm not too excited for swotor. I've got a friend who plays WOW and he got on the beta for swotor and he thinks he's gonna stick with WOW. Diablo III looks sick though.

Would you pronounce this RAV-EN-hold or RAY-VEN-hold because RAV-EN-hold sounds fancy.

SWTOR is better in many ways. Mostly story and charictor developement. Your friend is too invested in the WoW game to switch. I dont do P2P so I wont buy/play it, but I had a blast in the beta.
