Solving the Downgrade issues!

Post by pixiebitch » August 14th, 2011, 7:53 pm

Hey guys!
This is my very first post on Maxloader's site as well as it is on any other site :D

As I've read from the forums here that some of you guys have problems downgrading the minecraft version, I decided to share some precious info on doing so with you guys! :D

A While ago I discovered a launcher that allows you to choose from all the minecraft versions for you to download and easily be accessed from the launcher itself.
Here is the download link for the launcher tool, The launcher is available on Mac, Windows and Linux. -Yay!

Already helped Jakal by sharing this very same stuff and I hope it will be helpful for the rest of you also!

This is also a good tool:

It can revert your .jar to versions that date back to indev! (Not like you'd need them)

The other good thing is this doesn't require jars of previous versions. If you don't have a 1.8.1 .jar, you should use this. (It uses binary differences)
