Notice the tags "POWERFUL" translating to DISTANCE. NOT ACCURACY OR SPEED.

The whole point of TNT arrow cannons is to strafe an area that could be far away. Also, mountains are a non-problem with TNT.

Also, you don't have to place dispensers absurdly high in the sky with redstone causing URGLYNESS

As far as raw speed, this actually offers more arrow per launch. It's just not automatic. What fires more bullets in .5 seconds, a shotgun or an assault rifle?

A assault rifle. A shotgun shoots a shell and that shell releases pellets, thus it fires no actual bullets. While an assault rifle shoots at least 1 bullet in 5. seconds.

You got me there. I guess I was thinking of individual pellets as being bullets, probably due to common misconceptions in video games.


Point still made, though. Just scientifically inaccurately analogized.
